Friday Leads Challenge Issue #78

Friday Leads Challenge.
It’s that time of the week again’
Friday.
Friday = more leads.
Every Friday I’ll be sending you ONE challenge which if you follow for the rest of the week –
you’ll have a lot of leads.
Most people try to
build
trust.
That’s slow.
There’s a faster way,
borrow it
.
Here’s a simple play you can run this week.
Think about one person your audience already trusts.
Not an influencer.
Not a celebrity.
A
founder.
A senior leader.
A respected peer.
Someone whose opinion carries weight.
Now do this.
Step 1.
Engage with their content for a few days.
Not ‘great post.’
Add a real thought.
A perspective.
A question.
Step 2.
When they post
something strong, reply publicly with this:
‘Interesting take. One thing I’ve seen work differently is ___.’
Keep it respectful.
No correction.
Just addition.
Step 3.
Now turn that reply into a post of your own.
Example:
‘Saw an interesting point by [Name] today about ___.
Here’s how I’ve seen this play out on the ground.’
That’s it.
No tagging.
No shoutouts.
No pitching.
Why this works:
You’re not claiming authority.
You’re
standing next to it
.
In the reader’s mind, you become:
‘Someone who thinks at this level.’
‘Someone in the same room.’
Trust transfers quietly.
And the DMs that follow aren’t:
‘What do you do?’
They’re:
‘Curious to hear more about your perspective.’
That’s when conversations start.
That’s when calls get booked.
Without asking.
Try it once this week.
One person.
One thoughtful addition.
One post.
Borrowed trust beats self-promotion every time.
Good Luck,
Sandeep Mukhi
