Let’s face it.
Not every lead is worth your time.
Some are just curious.
Some aren’t ready.
And some will never buy.
The truth is, chasing every lead is exhausting.
You’re spreading yourself thin, trying to follow up with everyone.
But the game changes when you focus on the right leads.
And how would you do that?
Start scoring your leads.
It’s simple.
Create a system to rate your prospects based on three things:
- Engagement – Are they opening your emails?
Are they responding to messages?
Visiting your site?
If they’re active, they’re interested.
- Budget – Can they afford your services?
If they’re hesitant about pricing or dodging the question, it’s a red flag.
- Decision-Making Power – Are they the ones calling the shots?
Or are they just passing information to someone else?
You want to speak to the person who can say “yes” without checking with anyone else.
Assign points for each.
High engagement? +10 points.
Clear budget? +20 points.
Decision-maker? +30 points.
Now, look at your list.
The ones with the highest scores?
That’s where your focus should be.
These are the leads ready to move forward.
The others?
You don’t have to ignore them,
but they don’t get your immediate attention.
Because,
Chasing every lead is a waste.
You’ll feel the difference.
Talk to you next time.
